Ivy Learning Trust comprises a cluster of 17 primary schools across Enfield and Hertfordshire. As a registered charity, facility hire is an important revenue-generating service, with their schools offering spaces including halls, classrooms, dance studios, and outdoor play grounds.
Prior to engaging with BookingsPlus, the process for hirers to search, book and pay for spaces was time consuming. Limited promotion and marketing took place to drive awareness of available spaces. To make a booking, prospective hirers would call or email the school, undertaking a back-and-forth process between them and the school offices. Often, hirers made an appointment to view spaces before booking. To make a payment, an invoice would be manually raised by the Trust finance team and then chased until paid.
