Which payment gateway is best for me?

There are numerous payment gateways to choose from but it is always essential to find the best one that will make payments cheap, easy and safe for your clients. Consider these when researching;

  • Security– Important for both you and your customers.
  • Fees– Every payment gateway offers varying fees
  • Data probability– Make sure you know how to download and move the data you need to sustain your merchant services whilst complying with GDPR
  • Cards accepted– Most payment gateways accept all major credit and debit cards. Check if the gateway accepts American Express, that’s a bonus!!
  • Mobile optimisation– It is easier to do everything from our phones these days and if your payment gateway is not geared up for smartphones, then you are likely to miss that segment of sales opportunities
  • Customer support– Payment gateways should be able to provide efficient customer support network that can help out with any problems, anytime

BookingsPlus supports two fully integrated online payment options; Stripe and GoCardless. Both options allow hirers to pay invoices by debit/credit card directly into your bank account from their own online portal.
